COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course has been designed to provide basic knowledge and essential elements of Permit To Work (PTW) system in workplace and work with PTW system effectively as PTW Applicants, PTW Reviewer and Approver. This is to ensure PTW system act as Safe system of work (SSOW) that effectively control and manage conflicting high risk activities at workplace according to regulations and industry code of conduct.

COURSE OUTCOME

End of the course, delegates expected able:

1. To determine objectives of PTW system at workplace
2. To determine basic principle of PTW system
3. To determine common types of PTW system practice by industry
4. To determine key elements of each type of PTW such as Cold Work Permit, Hot Work Permit, Confined Space Entry permit and etc.
5. To determine essential process of PTW application, approval & Close-out
6. To determine general duties of permit applicants, authorized person, permit approver and permit users.
