Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website and services provided by UNBOX Resources Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1097080-P).

By accessing our website, registering for a course, submitting a booking, engaging our consultancy services or making payment to UNBOX, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Services

UNBOX provides services that may include:

  • Competency training programmes;
  • Short courses and professional training;
  • In-house training;
  • Seminars, conferences and workshops;
  • Coaching and mentoring;
  • Construction Work Design and Management/CDM-related training and consultancy;
  • Risk management services; and
  • OSH consultancy

Registration and Booking

Registration is subject to availability and confirmation by UNBOX.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration.Where a programme has eligibility requirements, the participant is responsible for ensuring that those requirements are satisfied. UNBOX reserves the right to request supporting documents before confirming admission to certain competency or professional programmes.

Fees and Payment

All applicable fees must be paid according to the payment terms stated on the quotation, invoice, registration form or programme advertisement.

A booking may not be considered confirmed until the required payment, purchase order or other approved payment arrangement has been received.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
  • Applicable taxes or statutory charges may be added where required.
  • Participants are responsible for any bank or transaction charges associated with payment.

Training Schedule and Venue

Training dates, trainers, venues and programme arrangements may be changed where reasonably necessary.

UNBOX reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule a programme;
  • Change the training venue;
  • Replace a trainer with another suitably qualified trainer;
  • Convert physical training to online or hybrid delivery where appropriate; or
  • Cancel a programme due to insufficient participation, regulatory requirements, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Participants will be informed of material changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

Attendance and Certification

Participants must comply with any minimum attendance, assessment or competency requirements applicable to the programme.

Registration and payment do not automatically guarantee successful completion or certification.

Certificates may only be issued to participants who satisfy applicable attendance, assessment, regulatory and programme requirements.

Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave professionally and comply with:

  • Training venue rules;
  • Health and safety requirements;
  • Instructions from trainers and programme organisers;
  • Examination and assessment requirements; and
  • Applicable laws and regulations.

UNBOX reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate.

Intellectual Property

Training materials, presentations, manuals, course notes, videos, assessment materials, graphics, trademarks and other content provided by UNBOX remain the intellectual property of UNBOX or their respective owners.

Unless written permission is obtained, participants must not:

Reproduce training materials for commercial purposes;

  • Distribute or sell course materials;
  • Record training sessions without permission;
  • Upload materials to public platforms;
  • Modify or republish copyrighted materials; or
  • Use UNBOX branding without authorisation.

Photography and Recording

UNBOX may take photographs or recordings during courses or events for documentation, training or promotional purposes.

Where appropriate, participants may notify UNBOX if they do not wish to appear in identifiable promotional materials.

Disclaimer: 

UNBOX makes reasonable efforts to ensure that training and consultancy information is accurate and relevant at the time of delivery.

Training information is intended for educational and professional development purposes and should not automatically be treated as legal advice.

Participants and organisations remain responsible for determining how applicable laws, regulations, standards and professional requirements apply to their own circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, UNBOX shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from:

  • Participation in a programme;
  • Reliance on training materials;
  • Cancellation or rescheduling;
  • Internet or technology interruptions;
  • Third-party services; or
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under Malaysian law.

Force Majeure

UNBOX shall not be responsible for delay, suspension or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Severe weather;
  • Epidemics or pandemics;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Regulatory directives;
  • Public emergencies;
  • Industrial disputes;
  • Transport disruption;
  • Venue closure;
  • Internet or telecommunications failure; or

Changes to These Terms

UNBOX may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
