COURSE INTRODUCTION

The philosophy of Malaysia’s Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) is to shift the responsibilities of managing OSH at workplace from the government to the people who create the risk, and the people who work with the risk, commonly known as self-regulation, ALARP and due diligence. Hence this course will discuss the acceptance and
rejection criteria for risk management and decision making to comply with the new OSHA and OSHMP.
