COURSE INTRODUCTION:

• Regulation 7(1)(a) of the CWDM Regulations 2024 requires the client to appoint PCWD and PCWC to ensure the safety and health of any person who may be affected by the construction project. 
• Regulation 10(1) requires designers and contractors to have the skills, knowledge, experience, and training (SKET) related to safe by design and the application of GPP. 
• Regulation 38 allows a client to appoint assistance (i.e. CDM Professional and CDM Coordinator) to assist the client with CWDM compliance.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

i) CDM PROFESSIONAL:

• At least a Degree recognized by MQA
• 5 years of work experience in the construction industry
• Registered with (LJM), (LAM), (LJBM) or accredited by CIDB as a Construction Project Manager (CCPM)

ii) CDM COORDINATOR:

• At least a Diploma recognized by MQA
• 10 years of work experience in the construction industry
• Registered with (LJM), (LAM), (LJBM), (MBOT), (LPBM) or accredited by CIDB as a Construction Project Manager (CCPM)
